Military medal cleaning and re-mounted service

I learned this skill at my old employer Harry Nobbs Ltd, Park Road, Peterborough.

I can affix any badge to any uniform with military accuracy however I do not have military knowledge/training so I do ask that you advise me on the location(s) of the badge(s).

I have a wide selection of medal ribbons in stock from The Victoria Cross to some foreign (approved) medals. Also several commemorative (unofficial) medal ribbons.  I have in the past been able to get ribbons for Victorian Medals.

All medals are cleaned before they are put back on to their ribbons. UNLESS otherwise stated.

MOD state that ribbon bar can be a maximum of four ribbon width, More than four must be racked/stacked .

OVERLAPPED MEDALS

MEDAL HOLDER

This is a piece of plactic which your medal pin slides into and then fits into the top pocket of your jacket.

MEDAL LOOPS OR BECKETS

These are small loops of cotton sewn onto your tunic/jacket to fit the pin for your medals through

DISPLAY MOUNT

This is basically the same as court mount but without the pin so they will sit flatter in a frame.

POSTING MEDALS

Medal can be sent by post. I recommend that you use Royal Mail Special Delvery to get them to me and I will return them the same way at a cost of £10.
